Dada Nii Okwabi has been a musician since the age of eight. He is a professional drummer, singer and teacher. He is well known in his native country of Ghana, West Africa and also his new home, Australia.
During his career Dada Nii has worked with the Mantse Mei Cultural Group and some of Ghana's top musicians including - Okyrema Asante, Pat Thomas and the late John K.
In 1978 Dadanii joined Ebaahi Sounds as Lead Singer and across his time with the group has 5 albums with them. During this time he also preformed with Fleetwood Mac in the film The Visitor filmed in Ghana. He has also worked with internationally acclaimed group Wulomei and contines to preform with them when back in Ghana when he returns home.
From 2009 worked in UK with Abladei UK and other groups.
